Trash Disposal and Other Sanitation Services

Taylor Made Sanitation Service, Inc works hard to keep our clients satisfied with our service. To ensure a smooth and safe pickup, we are pleased to share some important things to remember when you hire our crew.

Instructions for Pick Up

There is no set time for our pickup, but we advise our clients to put their trash out the night before the service day no earlier than 6:00 PM and no later than 6:00 AM on the day itself. Make sure your trash is not overweight, is properly covered, and placed in a visible area.

Household Refuse Removal

We only accept one Taylor Made Sanitation container per week. If you wish to have a second container dumped there is an additional quarterly fee (see below). If you have excess trash, you can call prior to your service day to pay for the extra bags to be removed. There is a limit of up to three additional household bags at a fee of $3.00 per bag.

Additional Container:

You may have additional containers dumped on a weekly or one-time only basis, please call the office to make arrangement prior to your pickup day.

Bulky Item Removal

To schedule bulk item removal, please contact our office or send an email with the item(s) description. Bulk items are considered, anything besides normal household waste. Bulk items must be scheduled and paid for in advance.

Acceptable Items

We can remove white appliances such as dryers, microwaves, small refrigerators, etc. Furniture such as tables, chairs, bookcases, mattresses, box springs, and couches or love seats with no metal are also accepted. These items are considered bulk, so they must be scheduled and paid for prior to pick-up.

Unacceptable Items

We do not remove large refrigerators, washing machines, treadmills, and other items weighing more than 75 lbs. Carpets or paddings are also not accepted as these are considered contract material.

Yard Waste Removal

This type of refuse should be bagged and/or bundled and tied. We only collect yard waste with no branches or limbs no larger than 3 inches in diameter and longer than 3 ft. and no piles larger than 48 x 48. During the fall season, we can only accept five normal-sized bags of leaves per week.
If you need to remove an excessive amount of debris, kindly call our office to request a special pickup. This may incur an additional charge.

Unacceptable Items

We do not remove yard waste such as rocks, dirt, and non-bundled limbs. We would also like to remind you not to put any paint, oils, or hazardous liquids in your trash container. Aside from this, we do not remove subcontractor’s trash as well as building or remodeling materials. All subcontractors are responsible for the removal of their refuse.

Recycle It Program

  • Remove the lids of plastic bottles and milk jugs. Crush the bottles by stepping on them to conserve space inside the recycle bin.
  • Rinse out glass containers and remove their metal lids before placing them in your bin.
  • For spiral paper cans, remove the plastic or metal lid and rinse any remaining food before placing it in the bin.
  • Empty aluminum cans before putting them in your bin. If you have steel or tin cans, you can also include them in recycling. Please note that we do not accept paint cans.
  • Newspapers, magazines, catalogs, and all inserts should either be tied or placed in a paper bag before putting them under the recycle bin. For cardboard boxes, break them down until they are not over the length of 3×3 ft. Place them under the container as well.

Collection Reminders

Pickup for your recyclables is the same as your curbside trash day. However, you are not obligated to recycle each week. You can wait until the bin is full before placing it at the curb for collection. Make sure that the container is placed apart from other trash. If unauthorized items are in the recycling bin, we will dump them in the garbage truck.

Buy a Recycling Container

To ensure that you have the right bin for your recyclables, we offer recycling containers for our customers. We have our 18-gallon bins available for $30.00 each, refurbished 95-gallon recycling container available for $60.00 and new 95-gallon recycling container for $100.00.

Collection During Holidays

Taylor Made Sanitation Service, Inc observes Christmas Day. If the collection day falls on or before this holiday, our professionals will pick up the refuse a day late. If Christmas Day falls on a weekend, your service day will not be affected. We will follow normal operations on other holidays.
